Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Lee entered this life on August 29, 1924 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Jake and Sarah Robison Brown. He was retired from the United States Army after 23 years of dedicated service. Lee was a member of both First Baptist Church, Clarksville and Queen City Masonic Lodge. After his retirement from the Army, Lee worked in construction and at Austin Peay State University. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Booth Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Demonbreun Brown; children, Cleta Gibbs, and Patricia Black; children by marriage, Jimmy Mathis, Sandra Mathis, and Peggy DeShields; grandchildren, Donald Gibbs, Randy Black, and Crystal Price.
