She was a retired secretary for State Farm Insurance and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Martin E. Wright: one brother, Bud Forster, one step-brother, Charlie Forster, two sisters, Betty Black and Dorothy Douglass.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Martin E. Wright of the home; one daughter, Michelle Pickering Shepard of Cave City; one sister, Shirley Shaffroth of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service conducted Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Tom Sorg and Andrew Richardson officiating.
Burial: Fairview Cemetery at Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
