Mrs. Denise Annette (Jackson) Lewis was born on August 23, 1958, to Adella Jackson in Vancleave, MS.
She attended St. Martin High School and was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Adella Jackson; her sister, Patricia Ann Jackson; her sister, Gloria Jean Irvin; and her son, Roosevelt Lewis Jr.
Mrs. Lewis leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 45 years, Roosevelt Lewis Sr., two loving children, Kelicia Lewis (Killeen, TX) and Koneshia Lewis (Ocean Springs, MS), her two grandchildren Talicia Barnes (Hattiesburg, MS) and Danasia Perry (Killeen, TX), and her great-granddaughter Rhylee Nicole Franklin (Hattiesburg, MS); three brothers Ellis Jackson (Escatawpa, MS) Lee Dell Jackson (Gulfport, MS), Donnis (Margaret) Jones (Franklin Creek, MS); four sisters: Elnora Reddix (Ocean Springs, MS), Carolyn (Gary) Jackson (Ocean Springs, MS), Betty Jean Chambers(Gulfport, MS), Birtha Jackson (Pascagoula, MS)and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friend.
Nana, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was straightforward and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her loved ones. For fun, she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.
