Ann was born in Hobart, Indiana on March 5, 1962. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1980. She accomplished many things during her lifetime, including building a loving family, obtaining her college degree in business management, and volunteering with the Seville Fire Department.

Ann Tanner, beloved daughter of Carol and Gerald Cooley and honored wife of Richard Tanner. Dearly loved mother of Melissa Holland, Eric Piers, Alex Piers and Michelle Parrish. Cherished nana of Jonathon, Christopher, Everett, and Madelyn.

She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Ann enjoyed spoiling her fur baby Rowdy, gardening, reading, cooking for her family, and game and movie nights with them.
