Daughter of John T. and Agnes (Phillips) McKown. She retired from Kent Sporting Goods in New London and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, also in New London. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oren Eugene "Babe" Barker; several brothers and sisters; and grandsons, Chris Hite and Shawn Willis. She is survived by her children, Guy (Mary Foster) Barker of Wellington, Becky (Bruce) Hite of Norwalk, Gary (Linda) Barker of Portage Lakes, Denise (Rock) Huff, and Timothy (Holly) Barker -both of New London; grandchildren, Brandon, Matt and Lauren Barker, Kimberly and Brad Hite, Aaron, Brian and Sarah Barker, Michael and Erik Willis, Tylor, Foster, Morgan and Jared Barker, Brook, Gabby and Jake Huff; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Dennis McKown of Toledo, Gerald McKown of Plymouth, and Ellen Parkinson of Plymouth.
