Rockport, IN. – David Michael Irwin, 61, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at his home. David was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 7, 1959 to the late John H. and Callie Marie (Taylor) Irwin.

David served proudly in the United States Army during Desert Storm and was a member of the Rolling Thunder. He retired after 28 years of service from the United States Postal Service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Johnny Irwin, George Edward Irwin, Kenneth Harland Irwin, William Talton Irwin.

David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna (Canary) Irwin; children, Tony Irwin (Ashley); Keith Irwin (Tina); grandchildren, Brianna, Isaiah, Logan, Roman, Layla, Alice, Jaime; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 A.M. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana with Pastor Barry Kirves officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana with the Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services to conduct military honors. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 and again from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
