Anthony Aaron "Tony" Mitchell Sr. of Jasper passed away on september 3, 2021. He was 73 years of age. Tony was born on July 24, 1948 in Cumming Georgia. He was the son of the late Aaron and Laura Mae Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife Carol Martin Mitchell of 55 years; son Anthony aaron Mitchell Jr. (Amy); grandchildren, Caleb Aaron Mitchell and Cameron McCall Mitchell; two sisters Peggy (George) Cothran, Freda (Dennis) Brown, sister in law, Claudette (Buddy) Reese, along with many other nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Roper Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
