EVELYN MAACK In loving memory of Evelyn Jean Maack, 81, (Jeanie, to many), passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 5, 1936, in Aitkin, Minn., and resided in Henderson. For nearly 36 years, she was cooking at the Skyline Casino for almost as long as she lived in Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Johnson; husband, James H. "Jim" Maack; former husband, Pat Davidsavor; brothers, Richard (infant), Norman, Gerald, Donald; and sister, Doris. She is survived by her brother, Gordon; sister, Geraldine (Joni); children, Richard, Steve, Jerry, Doug, Kelly and James "Buck;" 15 grandchildren, Travis, Troy, Jackie, Lindsay, Jobi, Brandon, Tina, Tyler, Jamie, Jody, Dakota, Colton, Ariel, Brayden and Kayl; and 21 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for family, friends and neighbors. Thanks too many of her neighbors and friends that looked after her. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday April, 1, at Henderson Community Church, 360 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson, NV 89015.
