After the death of Rose Ellen (Mayes) Crowder (1911 - 1920), Amos H. Crowder 2nd married Alice (Goodwyn) Cox, the widow of Eugene Lee Cox (1868 - 1918). No children were born to the second marriage.
Amos H. Crowder is buried in the Mayes Family Cemetery in Sussex County, Virginia, but the exact location of the cemetery has not been found to date. It is currently in the woods and so grown up with brush that we have not been able to locate it. Will keep trying. We are told that the cemetery is located near the town of Huske in Sussex County, VA.
