Mom, Grandma, Mamaw with the white hair, Aunt Ginny, Virginia, Virg—Mom went by several names and wore many hats: grammar school aide, Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, credit manager, grammar school reading volunteer, Hospice volunteer. All done with helping hands, patience, a great sense of humor, and a lot of love in her heart. Our home was always open to family, friends and pets!
Mom kept busy with family, friends, hobbies and her volunteer work. She was an avid reader, knitter, crocheter, baker, gamer: cards, Uno, scrabble and more—and you had to play by the rules, regardless of your age! She traveled to many places with family and friends by plane, train, automobile and cruise ships. She even enjoyed a hot air balloon ride with champagne brunch—an adventure on her bucket list!
