Roy George Harrison, 79, of Sherrill, died Friday, September 3, 2021.

He was born May 5, 1942, in Little Rock.

He grew up in England, and later in Pine Bluff, and was a 1960 graduate of Watson Chapel High School. He retired from International Paper after 38 years, and then opened Harrison Used Cars for 11 years, which he lovingly referred to as "Roy's Rusty Relics."

Roy loved to laugh and make people smile. Roy and Aline spent many years traveling across the country with Butch and Sue Davis. His favorite place was Colorado. He loved collecting coins and would give silver dollars to all the children in the family and at church. He loved cars, and was a member of a car club. He was a faithful member of the Highway 79 Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton (Jack) and Vivian Harrison, as well as all of his siblings, Sonny (Elbert), Bub (Floyd), Bobby, and Doug Harrison.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years and High School sweetheart, Aline Harrison; one son, John Harrison of Centerton, AR; one daughter, Janet Studdard and husband, Deon, of Richardson, TX; and multiple grandpuppies.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Mr. Clarence Fell officiating.

Private burial will be at Cedar Branch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. Monday, September 6, 2021, at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
