Mrs. Teresa "Pat" Lewis, age 85, of Mt. Vernon, died Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her home after a sudden illness. She was a native of Ashtabula, Ohio, moving to Wheeler County in 1957, and to Mt. Vernon in 2014. She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. She is preceded in death by two husbands, James Edward Prickett and Wesley Alvin Lewis; son, Duane Curry; granddaughter, Terri Leigh Lynn; Parents, August Andre Velt and Dominica Murano Velt; and a brother, Lewis "Louie" Veltri.
Her family includes three children, Sharon Maxwell of Mt. Vernon, James Edison Prickett, and Lisa D. Maddox, both of Glenwood; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
