Phillip Jefferson "Jeff" Easley, 105, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Gartman View Freewill Baptist Church with Roy Norie officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, directed by Comanche Funeral Home.
Born in 1886, Mr. Easley would have celebrated his 106th birthday on March 25th.
He was a farmer and a member of Gartman View Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He was the widower of Nora Belle Brinson Easley.
Survivors include two daughters, LeLois Cloud and Ferrel Huggins, both of Comanche; two grandchildren Mary Ann Winter of Houston and Harry Wayne Cloud of Comanche; and two great-grandchildren.
