Entombment will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM, in Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Monday, September 6, 2021, at Charleston Church of Christ, 9802 Highway 78, Ladson, SC 29456. Flowers will be accepted.
Jason was born April 24, 1973, in Flint, MI. He worked as a mechanic and loved motorcycles and trucking. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, and fireball. Overall, Jason's favorite thing was being a dad.
Survivors include his mother, Carol Ann Day of Summerville, SC; sons, Shane Winston Baker, Cole Alan Baker, and Brayden Edward Baker, all of Summerville, SC; daughter, Daphany Roseanna Baker of Lexington, KY; brothers, Robert Patrick Baker of Kingsport, TN, and David Closson, of Armagh, PA; sister, Kimberly Ann Holston (Fred) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; girlfriend, Leslie Poole of Summerville, SC and Ben Bazzle, Michael Williams, and Joshua Simpson, who were like sons to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Winston Day; and his wife, Alisha May Baker.
