James Arthur "Jimmy" Huffman, age 76, of Berry, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at his home. Born on December 19, 1944, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ash and Evelyn Porter Huffman. He was a lifelong farmer, a former employee of Kawneer, in Cynthiana, and vice-president and gatekeeper of Pythian Grove Cemetery. Jimmy loved working on old tractors and being a farmer, working in hay, soybeans, corn and tobacco.

He is survived by: two children, Ginny Lynn Huffman and Charles Land Huffman; two siblings, Bonnie Huffman Smith and Ronnie "Buck" Huffman; a grandson, Eli Marsh; four nieces, Fay Mann, Lisa (Nate) Allison, Connie Smith-Monahan and Emily Alcorn; a nephew, Carl Porter; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends, Jyon and Joyce Fryman. He was preceded in death by: a son, James Ethan Huffman; seven siblings, Ray Porter, Gene Huffman, Billy Huffman, Helen Huffman, Janice Huffman, Shearl "Toe" Huffman and Donnie Huffman; three nephews, John Lee Smith, Ashley Huffman and Bradley Huffman; and his dog, Spike.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Berry, with Bro. Richard Kendall officiating. Pallbearers will be Eli Marsh, Bobby Dennis, Jonathan Gaunce, Adam Yazell, Mike Ritchie, Jr., and Mike Nichols. Burial will follow at Pythian Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Pythian Grove Cemetery, 111 Fifth Street, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
