Dale Riley, 83, a resident of Irving since 1957 passed awaySeptember 3, 2021 in Irving. He was born March 22, 1938 in Missouri City, Texas, the son of the late Earl Raymond Riley and Tillie Guyla Nicholson Riley. He married Joy Lena Petta September 10, 1955 in Weatherford, Texas. She preceded him in death March 23, 2019.

He was an entrepreneur, investor, dance instructor, and was active in many Irving entities including Irving Cares, Irving Arts and the Stephen ministries. A Roman Catholic, he and his family have attended all the parishes in Irving including The Church of the Incarnation on the campus of the University of Dallas, Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, and St. Luke's Catholic Community. He was a recipient of the City of Irving's High Spirited Award.

Preceded in death by his wife, Joy Lena Riley in 2019, and a son, Joseph Patrick "Joe Pat" Riley, he is survived by his children, twelve grand children and seventeen great grand children.

Funeral services at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, Texas. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas. Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home.
