Funeral services for Dolores Enriquez Alvarado, 61, of Lovington will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Sherman officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
Dolores was born on May 25, 1960 in Brownfield, TX. to Luis and Consuelo (Subia) Enriquez and passed away on August 29, 2021. Dolores married Oscar Alvarado on February 26, 1976 in Kermit TX. She loved her family and her friends, she loved being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren they meant the world to her. Dolores enjoyed Genealogy and finding family and connecting with them, dancing, decorating for her family events, and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She had the brightest smile and the most wonderful laugh. She gave the biggest and best hugs and made everybody feel like family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Luis and Consuelo Enriquez; one son: Ruben Alvarado; one sister: Magdalena Reyes Contreras.
She was survived by her husband: Oscar Alvarado of Lovington; one son: Oscar Alvarado Jr.; one daughter: Cassie Alanis and fiancé Robert Costilla both of Odessa, TX; three brothers: Raymundo Sapien of Midland, TX, Timothy Sapien and Joe Fred Sapien both of Kermit, TX.; six sisters: Dora and husband Jacinto Escajeda, Rita Mendoza, Ofelia Enriquez, Eloisa Palacios, Gloria Chavarria, and Carolyn Sapien all of Midland, TX. grandchildren: Arianna Green and Luis Lujan of Odessa, TX., Jonathan Green of Odessa, TX.; Jayden Alanis and Taylor Alvarez of Odessa, TX., Jesse Alanis Jr. of Odessa, TX., Alexandria Alvarado and Christino Gonzalez of Albuquerque, NM., Ruben Alvarado of Albuquerque, NM., Oscar Alvarado III and Raquel Ramon of Sweetwater, TX., Charlotte Molden of Albuquerque, NM., Francisco Gutierrez of Farmington, NM., Zackariah Martinez of Albuquerque, NM.; great-grandchilden: Jaxon Ray Otero, Adrian Armando Lujan, and Skylar Alanis all of Odessa, TX.
