Donna Ara Walker, 68, a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Donna was born July 21, 1953 in Konawa to David Butler and Wilma (Crenshaw) Butler. She graduated from Konawa High School and attended college at East Central Oklahoma in Ada, Oklahoma. She became a Child Nutrition Director for the school cafeteria at Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma. She married Thomas Walker July 10, 1982 in Konawa. She was survived by a son, Austin Walker of the home; a daughter, Daisha Walker of Ada, Oklahoma; like a daughter, Sarah Blevins and husband Rube of Paden, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dwight Butler and wife Sherry of McLoud, Oklahoma, and Wayne Butler and wife Joycelin of Texas; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, David Butler; mother, Wilma Butler Lamb; step father, Walter Lamb; husband, Thomas Walker; three sisters, Carolyn Watts, Sharron Gladden, and Teresa Miley; and a nephew, Joey Gladden. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 8 September, at Konawa Cemetery in Konawa, Oklahoma, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, with Rev. Mitch Williams officiating.
