Dana Barker was born January 20, 1953, in Henderson to the late Bub and Wanda Irby Barker and lived all of his life in Mt. Enterprise. Dana worked as a dozer operator for Texas Utilities Mining, later Luminant Mining, and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Barker had been a member of the Church of Christ in Cushing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Helen Kay Barker.
