Jimmy L. Adams, 71, of 38 Ashland Ave., husband of Betty J. Aldridge Adams, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Clark County, he was the son of the late Albert and Edna Johnson Adams. He was a retired employee of The Eubank & Steele Company in Lexington and a member of the Ruckerville Church of Christ.

Other survivors include two sons, Steven Adams and Jeffery Ådams, both of Winchester; two grandsons, Daven and Daren Adams, both of Winchester; two sisters-in-law, Beulah Adams of Winchester and Marie Stewart Adams of Springfield, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Forest, Shirley, Edward, Carl and John Adams.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Scobee Funeral Home by Bro. Josh Sergent and Bro. Ed Toler. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Steele, David Steele, Doug White, Randy Adams, Ray Aldridge Jr., Sidney Aldridge and Willie Henry; honorary, Al Warfield, Jack McCall, Paul Riddell, Edwin Spears, Mike Henry, David Adams and Randy Youngker.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.
