Christopher Jay Webster, of The Woodlands, TX, was born February 12, 1972, in Jackson, MS and went to be with our Heavenly Father, in the early morning of Saturday, August 28th, 2021, due to complications with COVID-19 in Miami, FL.

Christopher, or Chris, as we all called him, was someone who was wise beyond his years and was ever the entrepreneur. He started college early to get a jump start at life, then joined the Army and was stationed in Moonson, South Korea for 2 years with many accomplishments in that time period. Once out of the Army, his visionary mindset kicked into high gear, and he founded the first Internet Advertising Agency in the United States by the time he was 22 years old. By 30, his company had him in business with Time Warner and Microsoft and had him travelling the world. Before the Tech Bubble Crash, he conducted business on most continents of the world, with a green global go-paperless mission to save trees.

After the Tech Bubble Crash, he spent many years finding his way back and eventually found himself in the Lab industry for many years and had future projects in the Space Industry. He was always immensely proud of his work and every project in which he was involved. Those who were lucky to know him know Chris, knew how much he loved and cared for them as well. His goal in life was to be able to take care of and provide for his family (brothers, sisters, friends, etc.). Everything he had, he wanted everyone else to be a part of it too. There were so many things he had planned and always looked to the future. He was taken too soon, but God had bigger plans for him. He left a legacy on Earth, especially to his family.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest Jay Freeman, Jr. and Margie Freeman. He is survived by his wife Antonia Karaaba Webster, his daughter Mikayla Webster, and sons Preston Jay Webster, Alexander Jay Webster and Vyacheslav (Slava) Jay Webster. He also leaves behind his mother, Cynthia Thumwood and stepfather Greg Thumwood, brother Jason (Jay) Schmitz and wife Christi, sister Melody Baker and husband David, nieces and nephews Alexis Schmitz, Cameron Jay Schmitz, Kelly Baker, Hailey Baker, and Jayci Schmitz.

A visitation for Christopher will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A celebration of life will occur Friday, September 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, September 17, 2021 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
