William Eager, 85, of Summerfield, passed away on August 27, 2021, in a local hospice facility. He was born August 28, 1936 in Elgin, Illinois to the late James and Eleanor (Heinmann) Eager. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a nuclear weapons tech and then went on to join the Navy, where he taught at the United States Naval Academy for 4 years. Throughout his career, William was constantly working to learn more, earning a BIE degree from Western New England College in 1969 and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1976.

A member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, William was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, he also served in the Color Corp for the Del Webb Community. When he was not working, you could usually find him enjoying a game of golf, bowling or spending time hunting, playing ping pong, working on his magic card tricks or photography.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Lorraine, sons, Chuck (Beverly) Demino, Frank (Kathy) Demino, 3 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will celebrate his life with a Mass of Christian Burial on September 20, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, Florida.
