Reynold R. Alde, Jr., 66, of Pana passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 in Pana Community Hospital. He was born February 12, 1955 in Pana, son of the late Reynold R. "Ren" Alde, Sr. & Alice E. (Kumpulainen) Alde.
Reynold was a graduate of Pana High School, Class of 1973. He worked as a grower, picker & caretaker at the Horse Barn Orchard. The orchard was his life 7 days a week. He was known for growing the best peaches.
Reynold is survived by his sons: Robbie Alde, Tampa, FL and Ryan Alde, Sparta, IL; granddaughter, Lexz Alde; and siblings: Daniel (Jill) Alde, Pana, IL; Richard (Suzann) Alde, Shabbona, IL; Karl Alde, Pana, IL; Janet (Mike) Arnold, Pana, IL; Michael Alde, Pana, IL; Susan Hutchinson, Mattoon, IL; Maria (Ryan) Denton, Fayetteville, NC
Cremation rites will be accorded. The family will host a celebration of life at the orchard at a later date.
