Fred May, Jr., 58, of Spencer passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at his residence. Born in Bloomington, Indiana on January 15, 1963, he was the son of the late Fred A. and Donnetta (Deckard) May.
Fred was a 1981 graduate of Bloomington High School South and was employed by NAPA Auto in parts delivery. He married Misty J. Jones on August 28, 1988 in Spencer. He enjoyed yardwork, woodworking, grilling, restoring cars, spending time with family and friends and making people laugh.
Fred is survived by his wife, Misty; a daughter, Jocelyn (Nick) Thacker; three grandchildren, Ashlin, Lucas and Lexi Thacker; a brother, Jeff (Melanie Mitchell) May; and several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Katelyn May and Jaydan May and a brother Gary May.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery in Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
