Glenda Carlton King, 73, of the Indian Springs community, Seven Springs, passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, November 28, 2020 while at home.

On Wednesday, December 2, the family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with services following at 2 p.m. Pastor Jeff Dail will officiate. She will be buried in Faison Cemetery after the service.

Mrs. King had been employed as secretary in several business entities through the years.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Lee King, of the home; children, Tim Johnson and wife, Tammy, of Seven Springs, Tonya Johnson with Ricky Hare of Seven Springs, Todd Johnson and wife, Kailee, of Pikeville; Kandy Allen and husband, Anthony, of Seven Springs, Danyelle Rouse with Aaron Taylor of Seven Springs, and Amy Joyner of Seven Springs; grandchildren, Juston Johnson and wife, Hannah, Tanya Hill, Stephanie Pounds and husband, Nathan, Mason Owens, Zachery Johnson, Elliot Smith, and Matthew King and wife, Taylor; sisters, Jane Darcey and Ellen Bates, both of Birmingham, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are Donald's two brothers, Dannie King and Ricky King and their families.

Her parents, Festus Jack Carlton and Pansy Green Carlton; and a brother, Billy Farmer, preceded Glenda in death.
