David W. Mills
David Wilford "Davey" Mills, 70, formerly of 114 E. Cork St., died Tuesday in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Mills was born April 27, 1903, in Frederick County, the son of Nathaniel Wilford and Susanna Petrie Mills. He was employed at Chrisman's Barber Shop before retiring. He was a member of Eagle Aerle 824.
He married Mary Miller in July 1924 in Winchester.
Surviving are three daughters, Colleen Jenkins and Katherine Wisecarver of Berryille, and Patricia Brill of Roanoke; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mount Hebron Cemetery with Dr. James R. Jackson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Carper Sr., Donald Athey, Herbert V. Kline Sr., Dalton Brill, Jack Swanson, and Bobby Stroop.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home.
