Husband of Betty (Gardner) Cooley - married 24 Aug 1942

Charles F Cooley, Sr. of Sebring, FL, passed away at the age of 95, Feb, 17, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Care Center, Sebring, with family by his side. His wife Betty Cooley passed May 18, 2019. Chuck and Betty, formally of Marion, IN were avid golfers at the Marion Elks Country Club. Mr. Cooley was on a bowling league for years, a member of the Moose and a Mason. Before retiring he was employed as a salesman at Devoe Chevrolet and Mathews Buick.

Chuck and Betty moved permanently to FL shortly after building a home in 1998 and both played golf for many years at different courses.

Mr. Cooley is survived by Charles F Cooley, Jr. (Lorene), daughter-in-law Linda Cooley, Seminole, FL. Chuck is survived by two sisters, Diana Chapman, Noblesville and Betty Raines, New Castle, three grandchildren, Chris Cooley, Marion Natalie (Scott) Smith, Gulfport, FL, Brett (Debb) Cooley, South Carolina, and seven great grandchildren, Kyle, Keven, Katy, Kira, Keaton, Hayden and Jena.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert Cooley, sister Marjorie Rhodes, brother Norman Cooley and parents Cecil and Treva Cooley.

There will be Services for Chuck and Betty at Grant Memorial at a later date.
