===================

There is a third stone in the Johns Cemetery of the Walter Hill Quadrangle of Rutherford County. Estell Hall who took this photograph states that it is possibly Mildred Ann Johns Palmer (Smith) who is mother of Gen. Jos. B. Palmer. Mildred died in childbirth having daughter Caroline Mildred Smith, Apr. 7, 1833. (born 1805) This would have been before her mother or father died.

An unknown person appears to be buried next to Mr. and Mrs. Johns. The stone is totally smooth and doesn't appear to have ever been engraved upon.

John Cemetery is located at the end of Lane Road, in rural Rutherford County. There appear to be three people buried there how ever the third marker has no inscription on it to tell who it is.
