Peter F. Ball passed away at the age of 58 on Monday, August 30th. He was an owner of Peter Franklin Jewelers and a lifelong resident of New Haven. Peter was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church where he served on the school board, Parish Council and taught CCD and RCIA for many years. He previously served on the Board of Directors for 3Rivers FCU, as well as a board member of the New Haven Chamber of Commerce. Peter loved camping, any motorsports, spending time with his family, grandchildren, and supporting his daughters at horse shows.

Peter is survived by his wife Josie; four daughters, Katie (Alex) Wharton, Addie McCarthy, Morgan Ball, Grace Ball; son, Will Ball; grandchildren, Amelia Wharton, Layla Wharton, Gianna Wharton, Joseph Wharton, Gemma McCarthy, Bella McCarthy, Lincoln McCarthy; Parents Floyd and Charlotte Ball, sister, Vickie (Rick) Seiter; brother, James Ball .

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Louis Besancon, New Haven. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Rosary begins at 4:30 pm.

Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan and Grace Ball Education Fund.
