Wayne, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Hammond, LA. Wayne is survived by his wife, Melinda Broussard Morgan; parents, John Edward and Arlene (Strahan) Morgan; daughters, Rebecca Bolkovac (Jonathan) of Conroe, Texas, Elizabeth Grandinetti (Christopher) of Trinity, Florida, and Nicole LaCroix (Mark) of Covington; sons: Ryan Broussard (Brittany) of Hammond and Daniel Broussard (Brandy) of Amite; grandchildren, Allan Astorino, Jude Bolkovac and Gwen Bolkovac all of Conroe, Texas, Beckett Grandinetti of Trinity, Florida, Cheyanne Roussell (David) of Covington, Finnegan-Eustace LeClair, currently in Monterrey, Mexico, Addison Broussard of Hammond, Graesyn Broussard, Lafayette, Riley Broussard, of Chalmette, and Aubrey, Ayden and Axyle Broussard all of Amite; bonus grandchildren, Beckhym Guevara and Khylan Theriot both of Lafayette;
brothers: Eric and Doug Morgan, both of Hammond, sister, Kim Serpas of Amite; bonus son: Stewart (Joy) Apple of Tulsa, OK; brother-in-law, Tim Wyble, Hammond; and bonus daughter, Krista Vercher, of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Matilda Morgan and Henry and Francis Strahan and one infant sister. Wayne was retired but was previously employed with the Hammond Police Department, Small Business Association and Nitro Gaming. His favorite pastimes were fishing and going to the casinos. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. Pastor Steven Miller will officiate the service and interment will follow in the Morgan Family Cemetery in Hammond.
