MACON, GA – David Wayne Barton, 57, passed away August 28, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday September 4, 2021 at 2pm in Bridges of Hope and Restoration in Twiggs County. Rev. Loretta Faulk and Brother Mark Morey will be officiating.

Mr. Barton was born in Macon, GA and was the son of the late Joe Barton. He was a retired electrician from Bennett Sheet Metal. Mr. Barton was also a member of Bridges of Hope and Restoration Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Barton; mother, Corliss Barfield; daughters, Tabatha (Steve) Barton, Felicia Mercer; sons, Brian Mercer, Will Mercer, and Jeremy Nobles; brother, Steve (Wendy) Barton; sister, Naomi (Jeff) Orsenigo; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; six step siblings; and three God-children the Bennett Boys.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bridges of Hope and Restoration, 404 Big Oak Rd. Macon, GA.
