Mr. Hayes was an avid hunter, loved barbequing but his true love was being around his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Helen Smith and Joyce Howard and brother; Billy Joe Hayes.
Survivors include his son; Steven Ray Hayes of Corpus Christi, brother; Roy Hayes and his wife, Miriam of Waco, sisters; Marie and May, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
