TUSCALOOSA | Doris Johnson Harman, age 84, of 1101 Snows Mill Avenue, died February 2, 2003, at Heritage Health Care Center. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from Calvary Baptist Church. Dr. Bruce Chesser and Rev. Joseph Robinson officiating. Private family burial will take place at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Heritage Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Harman, two infant granddaughters, Tera Adell Bishop and Laura Skinner and daughter-in-law, Fidela Harman.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Patricia H. Bishop (Clay), Florence; Mrs. Jane H. Skinner (Owen), Tuscaloosa; son, James Robert Harman, Jr., Olongapo City, Philippines; sister, Mrs. John Gilstrap, Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Clay Allen Bishop, Jr. (Donna), Patricia Jane Bishop, Robert Owen Skinner (Kelly), Kathryn Harman Skinner, Joseph Charles Harman (Emily) and James Fidel Harman, great granddaughter, Jamie Lee Harman.
