Ida Louise Eastburn, 77, of Saint Petersburg, the wife of the late James Fleming Taylor Jr., died Saturday April 11, 1998. The daughter of the late Joseph William Schafer and the late Lillie Mae Pike, Dr. Eastburn was a college professor and a member of the President's Inner Council for the Aged, Washington D.C. She married Reverend Harry Ward Barter at age 18. She later married Harry Inge Eastburn. Survivors include two sons, David Harry Barter, Bryan, Texas, and Joseph W. Eastburn, Lutz, Florida, a daughter Carmelita L Eastburn of St. Petersburg, a brother John William Schafer, Marion, Illinois; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.
