DONNA'S OBITUARY
Mrs. Donna Kay Edwards, 71, of Dyersburg, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at AHC Nursing Home in Dyersburg.
Donna was born on May 8. 1950, in Dyersburg, to the late Donald and Amy Adelene Hannah Chambers. She was married to Phillip Edwards for 21 years who survives her. Donna worked as a fedline operator at Security Bank for 12 years. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she loved and enjoyed her church family. Donna retired from Met-Life Insurance Company, after working there for 19 years. She was a member of the Class of 1968 at Dyersburg High School. She was an avid sports fan, loving her TN Vols basketball and football teams. She loved to travel with her family and friends, and she was happiest hosting her family and friends for gatherings and meals. Donna especially loved her grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 Friday evening at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Donna Edwards will be 1 pm Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Cory Williams and Rev. Annetta Camp. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Edwards of Dyersburg, TN; a son Zachary Walden (Gena) of Dyersburg, TN; two stepdaughters, Paige Edwards and Jennifer Edwards, both of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Payton Hinson and Addy Grace Walden; she also leaves a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jimmy and Patricia Larson, of Dyersburg, TN.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hendrix, Mike Pence, Jerry Edwards, Ricky Petty, John Arnold and Jody Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis and Gay Irvin, Jim and Patty Hampton and Sammy and Patti Arnold.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother William Neal Chambers.
