Cory Allen Jackson, 30, of Appleton, passed on January 7, 2019 after a courageous 15 year battle with Leukemia. He was the strongest person anyone could ever have known.

Cory had a great passion for poetry, music and had a beautiful voice for singing. He was very artistic, had an infectious smile, and a great sense of humor. One of the things Cory loved was his work at The Burial Chamber. Cory had earned his Master's degree in arguing.

Cory is survived by his mother; Julie (John) Winkler, father; Dan (Lisa) Jackson, fiancée; Jen Porter, 2 brothers; Earl James (Amber Seibel) Jackson, Adam Winkler; Paternal grandfather; Earl W. Jackson, grandmother; Carol Winkler, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his service dog Biggs, whom he loved very much.

Cory is preceded in death by one sister; Erika Winkler, two grandfathers; James R. Miller, Carl Winkler and two grandmothers; Lois Jackson, Esther Schwalenberg.

A memorial service for Cory will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday January 11, 2019 at Valley Funeral Home Appleton, WI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening beginning at 4 PM until the service at 7 PM.

Cory's family would like to extend a special thank you to Jen, his fiancée for loving him so hard and always being there for him.
