Virginia "Ginny" Myerscough (nee Tincher) was born April 9, 1937 in Whitewater, Wisconsin to William and Cornelia (nee Coxe) Tincher. Ginny was the beloved wife of John Myerscough. Her memory will be cherished by her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She grew up in Columbia, Missouri. After high school she moved to St. Louis to attend nursing school becoming an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and later becoming an Registered Nurse (RN) before earning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). She spent most of her career at Incarnate Word Hospital, working in the Emergency Room for 44 years. When Incarnate Word closed she worked five more years at Des Peres Hospital.

She loved nursing and was actively involved in the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) serving in many capacities including president of the Missouri Chapter. She received many awards from ENA including two lifetime achievement awards. She was named Emergency Nurse of the Year in 1995.

She had a servant's heart. She traveled to Bolivia many times to serve as a medical missionary. She also volunteered with FEMA to serve those impacted by natural disasters including spending several weeks in New Orleans aiding victims of Hurricane Katrina. Wherever there was a need, Ginny was there. She joined with thousands of other St. Louisans to help with sandbagging during the massive floods of 1993 and volunteered in numerous other capacities.

Ginny was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and cherished her time with her family. She particularly enjoyed trips to the zoo and the Missouri Botanical Gardens, where she was a proud member. She loved lavishing her family with gifts on Christmas and hiding eggs every Easter for a big Easter Egg Hunt. She loved to have her house full of family at any time. In addition to raising her own children she was blessed to raise two granddaughters

Although not a native, Ginny was a true St. Louisan. She loved her Cardinals and followed them closely. She was a season ticket holder for the Rams for many years. She loved the Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Living most of her years in Webster Groves she was particularly fond of the Independence Day Parade and fireworks.

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Virginia Kitchell.
