Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral procession will form Wednesday 10 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM by his uncle, Reverend John T. Kearney at Saint Mary's Church. Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery.

James P. Kearney, III, 47, of Bronx, New York died Thursday April 12, 2018 at home. Born November 22, 1970 in Bronx, New York, a son of James P. Sr. and Margaret (Harrigan) Kearney.

A graduate of Hunter College, James earned his master's degree in social work. He was employed at the Bronx Psychiatric Hospital as a Clinical Social Worker.

In addition to his parents, James, a devoted brother and uncle is survived by his sisters, Sarah Cunningham and her husband Dale, Clare Rigano and her husband Edward and Delilah Kearney; his brother, Thomas Kearney. Many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.

James will stay in our family's hearts and memory forever.
