Sandra Simmons, 73, of Magee, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Magee General Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg with services immediately following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Simmons retired from Social Security Administration in 2009 after 27 years and she loved to travel and sew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred C. Horn and her mother, Henrietta Horn.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Leonard Simmons of Magee; one son, Christopher Grant Simmons (Laura) of Loxahatchee, FL; one sister, Carolyn Ann Burnett (Charles) of Magee; and her step-mother, Emma Horn of Collins.
