Loretta Jane Davis, age 72, of Paris, passed away at 10:26 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Illinois. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Edgar Cemetery in Paris, Illinois.
Loretta was born November 26, 1948 in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of the late Charles and Beaulah Kiger Kemper. She married Dean Davis on October 7, 1972. He survives.
She graduated from Paris High School in 1966.
Loretta worked as a telephone operator, medical receptionist, and manager. She retired from ERBA were she enjoyed helping people.
She was a long time and active member of Lake Ridge Christian Church in Paris, Illinois.
Loretta enjoyed spending time at home with her loving husband, family, and friends.She especially enjoyed the holidays.
She is survived by her husband: Dean Davis of Paris, Illinois; her children: Robby D. Davis of Port Orange, Florida, Lisa L. (Dick) Ellingsworth of Paris, Illinois, her grandchildren: Layne and Josie Ellingsworth of Paris, Illinois; her siblings: Ronald (Dawn) Kemper of Terre Haute, Indiana, Linda Griffin of Paris, Illinois, Janet (Dan) Kleptz of Terre Haute, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Loretta is preceded in death by: her siblings: Charles "Chuck" Kemper, and Beverly Harmon.
