Ann (Lott) Johnson, age 87, of Stockbridge died August 29, 2021. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 12, 1934 at Grady Hospital. Her parents were the late Walter Thomas and Frances Anderson Lott. Ann grew up in Lakewood Heights and attended grammar school there. She then attended Fulton High School in Atlanta for four years until Fulton High moved to a new building in Lakewood where she graduated in the first graduating class of 1952. She married her high school sweetheart, Clifford Berry Johnson, October 24, 1952 at Lakewood Heights Baptist church, her church since birth. They lived in East Point for a short time after their marriage but soon purchased a home in Lakewood where they lived for 19 years. They built their present home in Henry County in 1972. Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Arlene Cook Moore Miller Roberson of McDonough. Ann worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Spence McClelland in Atlanta until he retired in 1983. She later became the administrative assistant in the Henry County building department and worked in that position until she retired after approximately ten years. Surviving are her loving husband Clifford Johnson, sons, Clifford Johnson, Jr. (Lisa) of Roswell, GA, and Burch Johnson (Jim Mendoza) of Winston-Salem, NC, grandchildren Meredith Silliman (Justin), Mills River, NC, and Nicholas S. Johnson, Wilmington, NC, and great-grandson, Christopher Paul Silliman. Ann was a wonderful cook and especially liked to bake cakes, pies and cookies. She loved to feed everyone and see that they had more than enough. She loved ice cream and never refused it. Funeral service scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church of McDonough.
