James loved family and enjoyed spending any time he could with family and friends. One particular highlight was a trip with dad to New York, touring the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, attending a Yankee game, and downtown New York. James had a dry sense of humor that many folks would not understand, at least immediately. His specialty however was his knack for impersonating voices. On several occasions he recorded a voice on our landline and folks would call up just to hear the impersonation. James loved his sports and had his favorite teams, and would purchase hats for most every team. He loved sports, hats, sneakers and had a large video movie collection. Our dear friend Cmdr Joe summoned up so beautifully James personality: "We are proud to have had the opportunity to meet and work with James at the young age of seven or eight. He would show up to the Royal Ranger meetings in full uniform ready to go and study the word of God. He did follow the Golden rule always being polite, kind and thoughtful. James always made you feel special. Whenever he walked into the room he was always happy and had something to share! Thank you Cmdr Joe.
We are so proud to be the parents of such an amazing son. Thank you Father God.
