Mr. Ray Edward Curtis, age 91, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Mr. Ray Curtis was born May 29, 1930, in Bakerville, TN, to Robert Alce and Dillie Ann Bell Curtis. He lived in Humpheys County, TN all of his life except for 6 years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Waverly. He was a Retired Mechanical Supervisor for E. I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ray always had a kind word and a smile for everyone he would meet.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Dr. Scott Brown will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
