Norma Joan (Jo) Collins (nee Schieman), age 93 of Port Huron passed away in her home on August 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Richard F. Collins II. Dearest mother of Timothy (Marisa) Collins, Richard III (Mary) Collins, and Daniel (Renee) Collins; cherished grandmother of five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews who will greatly miss her.
Jo was a lifelong member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed singing as a choir member, teaching Sunday School, and serving as a parish council member. Some of her favorite pastimes included bridge clubs, dance clubs, and pot-luck clubs with her many friends, playing tennis, going for long walks, riding her bike, and spending time at the beach with her children.
Memorial Service will be held on September 11, 2021 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 710 Pine Street, Port Huron.
Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM. Service at 10:30 with interment immediately following at Lakeside Cemetery 3663 10th Ave., Port Huron.
