MULBERRY- Davis, Jimmy 86 passed this life into the arms of his Savior on August 8, 2021 in Lakeland, FL.

Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Mulberry, born on February 26, 1935 to James and Catherine (Coulter) Davis. He was a Veteran of the United State Army Reserve (Korea). Professionally, he dedicated himself to Royster as an electrical engineer, retiring after 42 years of service. His legacy includes his devotion to his family as well as His Lord through Deaconship in various Baptist churches for the past 47 years. As of late, he was a member and Deacon of Hopewell Baptist Church, Plant City. In addition, he is known as an avid gardener and cook.

Jimmy is preceded in death by two sons; James Allen and Phillip Wayne Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Babs Davis, sons; Steven Davis (Donna), Mike Davis (Lania), daughter; Sandra Arnold (Wally), 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and sister; Dorine Powell.

The life of Jimmy will be celebrated on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church, 6001 S. County Road 39, Plant City, FL 33567 at 12:00pm. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm.
