Linda Williams Shaw, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Linda was born on May 14, 1952 in Ocala, FL. She met the love of her life, Freddy Shaw, while attending Bronson High School. They were married on June 8, 1969. On January 21, 1970 they welcomed their son, Randy Shaw. Linda worked for the United States Postal Service for 32.5 years. She retired as the Postmaster of Bronson in 2007. She met many lifelong friends throughout her career. Linda had a passion for travel. There aren't too many places in the United States Linda hasn't seen. She was an expert in the kitchen. She loved hosting her family and friends, especially during the holidays.

Linda was a faithful member of the Cherry Sink Church of Christ. She thoroughly enjoyed fellowship with her church family.

Linda is survived by her husband, Freddy Shaw; her son, Randy Shaw (Jennifer); her sister, Patricia Meeks; three grandchildren, Ashtin Shaw, Courtney Shaw and Dustin Shaw; great-grandchild, Geoffrey Zimmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Lillie Williams; her sister, Geneva Jerrels.

A graveside service will be held at 9:00am at the Robinson-Jerrels Cemetery in Bronson, FL (adjacent to the Rosemary Hill Cemetery) on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of the Knauff Funeral Home-Williston, FL.
