Myrtle Virginia Smith, 86, of Sophia, NC, passed away on August 24, 2021 at Greybrier Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Myrtle was born in Abington, Virginia to Georgia Virginia Brittenham and Robert Edward Bailer on May 16, 1935. She was a simple woman that loved everyone. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her mother Georgia Virginia Brittenham, her father Robert Edward Bailey, her daughter Starlette Regina Rozier, and her granddaughter Jeanna Brown Ayers.

Myrtle is survived by her son Jimmy Nolen wife Ruth, her grandchildren Mark Brown, Brandy Nolen, Amber Gaines, Kristin Nolen, Misty Gentry, Danielle Havard, and Dillon Davis, she also leaves behind her great grandchildren Cameron, Raeven, Bradly, Dameon, Bella, Liam, and Nevaeh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm Sunday August 29, 2021 at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery (Cabin) located at 1550 Hwy 62 West, High Point, NC 27263.
