61 year old, Thomas Cain, of Lake Village, passed away at his home on August 31, 2021, due to a long illness.
On January 27, 1960, Tom was born to Roy Cain Sr. and Rose (Jones) Cain-Sinsabaugh. He attended North Newton Schools. Tom was a Mr. Fix-It guy who if given a shoestring and a piece of tape rig anything. He loved to fish, listen to country music and collect anything and everything. As they say, "One man's junk is another man's treasure." Tom had lots of treasures. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his mother, Rose; siblings, Roy (Nora) Cain, Mary (Randy) Potts, and Tina (Jim) Gildersleeve, and many nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Roy Cain Sr., brother, Randy Cain Sr., stepfather, Lloyd Sinsabaugh and his grandparents.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, and graveside services will take place on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Calem Hon officiating at Roselawn Cemetery.
