Donnie was born in Charleston on March 13, 1979 to Helen Moles and the late Gary Thompson. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and worked for Pauley Motor Car as a mechanic which he loved to do.

Along with his father he was preceded in death by a son, Luke Alexander Thompson; grandparents, Bill & Nina Moles and Howard & Elizabeth Honaker.

He is survived by his wife, Madah Meadows; children, Shane Bowles of Ohio, Josh Meadows, Angel Meadows and Olivia Thompson all of Charleston; parents, Billy and Helen Moles of Charleston; brothers, Michael Moles of Kenna and Derick Shores of Cincinnati, OH; close friends, Victor Winfree and Brooke Burton, Paul Williams all of Charleston; grandson, Jace Bowles.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday September 3, 2021 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Tony Rumburg officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
