Brittany Lynette Watson, age 14, of Dell Circle, Hudson, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem. She was born February 4, 2007 in Caldwell County to Charles W. "Chuck" Watson, Jr. and Karen Miller Watson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jordan Isaac Watson; her paternal grandfather, Charles W. Watson, Sr.; and maternal grandfather, Bobby W. Chester.
Brittany was a rising freshman at South Caldwell High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Hudson.
Survivors in addition to her parents include one sister, Heather Mackenzie Watson of the home; her paternal grandmother, Ida Greene Watson of Lenoir; her maternal grandmother, Louise Chester of Lenoir; and her maternal grandfather, Robert Miller of Lenoir.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Hudson Life Center conducted by Rev. R. Mack Jarvis III. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Lenoir.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. one hour prior to the service in the Church Life Center.
Serving as pallbearers will be William Miller, Derek Philyaw, Austin Bolick, Seth Bolick, Tracy Anderson and Chad White.
